D. Gangacharyulu is Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, India. He obtained his Undergraduate and Postgraduate in Chemical Engineering from University College of Engineering (Autonomous), Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. He obtained his Ph.D. in the area of cross flow compact heat exchanger for internal combustion engines from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, India. His research interests are heat transfer and fluid flow, nanofluids, heat pipes, heat exchangers, energy, and computational fluid dynamic. He served for 5 years in an industry, 3 years in academics and 11 years in Thapar Centre for Industrial Research and Development, Patiala, India besides the present assignment in Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology from 2002 onwards.
