Has successfully completed one industry sponsored research project and currently working on one inter department project. Along with teaching and research, has undertaken various responsible administrative positions at department and University level. Project Title: Smart Demand-Response Framework for Load Optimization in an Electric Grid

Project Summary:
Various load scheduling techniques adopted by the utilities in Haryana will be analysed and a user-centric demand-management optimization approach for DSM where the total energy demand (i.e., the cost/charges of utility) and electricity charges of each consumer/user are optimized will be proposed. Validation of the proposed framework will be done by comparing its simulation results with various existing techniques for smart management of loads.

Project Summary:
A security framework will be designed that will achieve the desired security attributes and enables service providers to offer incrementally various VANET services with minimal investment thus encourages both service providers and users to try/adopt VANET. Experiments will be conducted to prove the soundness of the proposed framework using various security testing parameters.
